The Alpilles in Provence

It was love at first sight for Gérard Faivre when he discovered the beautiful Alpilles region and its capital, St Rémy de Provence.

The Alpilles is located right at the centre of Provence’s golden triangle : Avignon, the Camargue and Marseille.

Avignon is known for its famous theatre festival, the Camargue is renowned for its horses and semi-wild bulls and St Rémy de Provence for its artists.

Gérard Faivre set his sights on the beautiful village of Baux de Provence, designated a French heritage site. Set atop a rocky outcrop it enjoys a spectacular position at the heart of the Alpilles regional nature park and has been named one of the most beautiful villages in France.
